Western Missouri University Names New President.

Nov. 13--The four campuses of the University of Missouri are dusting off their red carpets to introduce Elson Sylvester Floyd as the university system's next president.
Confirmation that Floyd is the university's choice came Tuesday from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, where Floyd is president now, as well as from the head of the University of Missouri's presidential search committee.
Paul Steele, a member of the University of Missouri Board of Curators and chairman of the board's search committee, said, "President Floyd is the choice, and I am certain that he's coming."
