Airports Look to Congress for Relief from Baggage Security Deadlines.

Nov. 13--With the distraction of midterm elections gone, the nation's airports have turned an optimistic eye toward a lame-duck Congress, hoping for relief from year-end baggage screening deadlines.
They are asking lawmakers -- no longer obsessed with getting re-elected -- to act on industry pleas to give the Transportation Security Administration more time to set up shop in larger airports.
And there does seem to be a chance for movement, said Bill Jennings, executive director of Orlando International Airport.
"We're getting a lot of positive indication that something will happen," said Jennings, who recently joined more than 140 airports in a letter...
