Seattle City Light Audit to Guide Regulators' Review.

Nov. 13--EVERETT, Wash.--The Snohomish County Public Utility District will conduct an internal review by studying a recent audit that found fault with Seattle City Light for high power rates.
PUD commissioners said last week that they think the review could help determine whether the Snohomish County utility had made similar mistakes. PUD customers have accused the utility of making bad decisions that led to the highest residential rates of any public utility in Washington.
The City Light audit mostly takes its superintendent, Gary Zarker, to task for blaming high rates on bad weather and ravenous energy corporations. It says the utility should have planned...
