Toyota to Add Four Texas Dealerships.

Nov. 13--In a rare expansion, Toyota is adding two dealerships in Dallas-Fort Worth and two in Houston as it seeks a bigger market for its growing lineup of trucks.
Although that is a relatively low number of new stores, conservative Toyota is adding only eight dealerships in the United States this year. The fact that Texas is getting half of them is significant, say company officials and industry analysts.
"We typically announce one or two dealerships a year, so it is unusual to have this many named at one time," said John Kramer, corporate manager of distributors and public companies at Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. in Torrance, Calif. "It is also unusual to...
