Western Oklahoma Natural Gas Price Index Rises for November.

Nov. 1--November's natural gas price index for western Oklahoma jumped to $4.15 per thousand cubic feet, an increase of nearly a dollar from October's index price.
Unusually cold midautumn weather and lingering concern over declining natural gas production in North America have pushed the index higher, said Tony Say, president of Clearwater Enterprises Inc. of Oklahoma City.
November's index price marks the third consecutive gain since falling slightly in August. Last month's index was $3.32.
The index for eastern Oklahoma gas is $4.25, up from $3.50 a month ago.
