Thai Bankers' Group to Auction 800 Properties in Attempt to Recoup Bad Debt.

Nov. 8--Home-seekers will be able to select from 800 properties at an auction of seized assets to be held at the Bangkok Convention Centre, Lat Phrao, on Nov 16 and 17.
The Thai Bankers' Association is co-ordinating the auction which will be conducted by Harrison Realty Group.
Twatchai Yongkittikul, the association's secretary-general, said properties worth a total of about 16 billion baht were being sold to recoup bad debts.
Financial institutions including BankThai, Bangkok Bank, Siam Commercial Bank, Thai Farmers Bank, Bank of Asia, Thai Danu Bank, UOB Radanasin Bank, National Finance, Kiatnakin Finance, Global Thai Property Fund and...
