Walt Disney World Discusses Opening Dates for New Attractions.

Nov. 11--The mysterious new Epcot ride, Mission: Space, won't be for small children, Disney creative executives say.

"Any attraction with a thrill quotient is going to have some height restrictions," said Marty Sklar, vice chairman and head creative executive at Walt Disney Co.'s Imagineering arm. His group designs and develops new rides and shows for all of Disney's theme parks.

Sklar, visiting Orlando last week to brief foreign journalists on coming enhancements at Walt Disney World, declared that Mission: Space will be an "astronautlike experience." The ride, scheduled to open sometime next year, will give guests a feeling of liftoff, he said....
