Thai Firm to Issue Debentures to Fund Consumer Finance Business Expansion.

Nov. 16--Siam A&C Co Ltd plans to issue two billion baht in senior debentures early next month to fund the expansion of its Easy Buy consumer finance business.
The debentures were fully guaranteed by the parent Acom Co, the largest consumer finance company in Japan, said Lyn Kok, a senior executive vice-president of Standard Chartered Bank (Bangkok branch), the underwriter.
The guaranteed debentures to be issued on Dec 2 to institutional investors will have a three-year maturity with semi-annual coupon payments and full principal returned. The coupon rate, expected to be between 3.1 percent and 3.5 percent, will be announced on Nov 26.
