Performers at Orlando, Fla., Universal Studios Must Re-Audition to Keep Jobs.

Dec. 2--The mandatory re-auditions that the 300 Universal Orlando entertainers must perform to keep their jobs have been scheduled for January, and skills from singing to stunts must be demonstrated.
For the first time since 1998, Universal is requiring performers to re-audition to hold onto their current roles in live-action shows and street performances.
In a memorandum to entertainers at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios, Christine Dietz, human resources manager, specified that, for example, "all stunt roles" such as those in the Wild West Show must participate in both an agility test and auditions for singers and dancers.
