Former Real Estate Agent Learns Ropes As New Aberdeen, S.D., City Planner.

Dec. 7--Becoming Aberdeen's new planning and zoning director was quite literally an answer to Phillip Lookadoo's prayers.
Or at least it was an answer to his wife's prayers.
When her husband sent out resumes in search of a job, Kelly Lookadoo prayed three different times that they would get a phone call from one of the potential employers.
And all three times, Alan Ruhlman, Aberdeen's human resources director, called about the city planner position.
In fact, the day after the third prayer, Ruhlman called to offer Lookadoo the $50,000-per-year job.
