Owner Woos Possible Client for Vacant Warehouse in Ventura County, Calif.

Dec. 10--One of the largest vacant commercial properties in west Ventura County could have a new user early next year, a commercial real estate broker said Monday.
The former Gap Inc. warehouse in Ventura has been empty since April, but talks are underway with a user who would occupy about two-thirds of the 240,598-square-foot building, said George Eales, first vice president with DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services' Camarillo office. Eales declined to identify the user while negotiations continue. A deal could be hammered out within 45 days, he said.
