Dec. 12--Last February, John Ormiston, 38, lifted a tire off the ground and felt a twinge in his back.
"Then I got bad back pain and it never went away. I had achy legs and soreness. Sometimes my feet would tingle and go to sleep. My legs were so bad I could only be up and around for a few hours at a time," he said.
Ten weeks ago, Ormiston had surgery where a recently approved FDA procedure was used to remedy bulging discs in his lower back.
