Time Warner Cable Agreement to Show Orlando Magic Games Is Near Expiration.

Dec. 18--Central Florida basketball fans will miss more than two dozen Orlando Magic games starting next month unless Time Warner Cable and Sunshine Network are able to negotiate a new contract.

The existing agreement, signed 10 years ago, expires Dec. 31. Both companies confirmed Tuesday that price was a sticking point -- though neither would say how much of an increase Sunshine Network has proposed.

Sunshine, a statewide sports channel based in Orlando, is scheduled to carry about half of the Magic's games this season. It also carries the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team and sports from the University of Florida, Florida State University and the...
