Chamber Hails Designation of Harrisburg, Pa., as a Regional Enterprise Zone.

Dec. 19--During a back-slapping salute to economic development achievements over the past year, the Harrisburg Regional Chamber Wednesday had an even bigger reason to celebrate at its annual luncheon.

The state announced that parts of the region have been designated a technology enterprise zone, enabling companies to seek low-interest loans or tax credits if they are located in or plan to move into the 65-mile area stretching from Middletown/Hershey to Carlisle and Shippensburg.
