Battle between Time Warner Cable, Sunshine Network Escalates in Florida.

Dec. 19--The tussle between Sunshine Network and Time Warner Cable escalated Wednesday, with Sunshine taking its case to the public with ads in three newspapers.
The two companies are at odds over a new contract to replace Sunshine's current agreement with Time Warner, which expires Dec. 31.
Insiders said Sunshine wants to increase the fees Time Warner pays to air the all-sports network by 40 percent. The cable company, insiders said, has countered with an offer to pay only 10 percent more.
If a new accord isn't reached, basketball fans could miss more than two-dozen Orlando Magic games that Sunshine plans to air in early 2003.
