Dec. 19--NASHUA, N.H.--SkillSoft Corp. said Wednesday that Nasdaq officials notified the company on Tuesday that its stock may be delisted, or removed from trading, because it didn't file a third-quarter financial report with the Securities and Exchange Commission on time. SkillSoft said it could not file third-quarter financial results on time because it found accounting irregularities in past financial statements of SmartForce, the company it merged with earlier this year.
In November, SkillSoft said it would be restating SmartForce's earnings for 1999, 2000, 2001 and the first two quarters of this year.
