Time Warner Cable's Talks with Florida's Sunshine Network at Standstill.

Dec. 25--Less than a week before a 10-year programming deal expires, talks between Time Warner Cable and Sunshine Network are at a standstill.

If the two companies don't agree on a new contract by Dec. 31, Central Florida sports fans who rely on Time Warner for cable-television service could miss more than two-dozen Orlando Magic basketball games, as well as the Tampa Bay Lightning's hockey games.

Sunshine, a statewide sports channel based in Orlando, is scheduled to carry about half of the Magic's games this season, as well as games involving University of Florida, Florida State University and University of Central Florida sports teams. The channel, owned...
