TOT Corporation Auctions Go Online in Thailand.

Dec. 25--TOT Corporation yesterday began electronic procurement of photocopiers and mobile transmission equipment via an online auction in response to the good governance policy of the government.
The electronic auction was witnessed by Information and Communications Technology Minister Surapong Suebwonglee.
Dr Surapong said online auctions would soon be used for all electronic equipment procurement by the government to improve transparency.
The auction consisted of two parts: the leasing of 204 photocopiers with a budget of about 36.5 million baht, and the lease of another 104 photocopiers with sorters at a cost estimated at 40.4 million baht....
