Dec. 26--If Santa Claus gave up gift giving, he'd make a pretty good U.S. Postal Service carrier.
Or is it the other way around, with carriers making able substitutes for Santa?
In any event, each year as Claus makes stops on a route that varies according to who's been naughty and who's been nice, the ageless question is always asked, "Will any surprises be under the Christmas tree?"
It's a query answered by Claus, or in some cases, by money.
