Cessna Chooses Engine Maker for New Business Jet.

Jan. 10--Cessna Aircraft Co. will use a new-generation Pratt & Whitney engine to power its recently announced entry-level business jet, the Citation Mustang.

Cessna signed a contract with Pratt & Whitney Canada to use its PW615F engine -part of a family of new Pratt & Whitney engines -- on the Mustang.

Cessna also considered an engine made by Williams International. Cessna's decision was a second recent setback for Williams, which has been dropped as the engine supplier for the new Eclipse 500 business jet under development in Albuquerque.

Cessna uses engines made by both companies for its business-jet line now in production. The Wichita planemaker...
