Jan. 10-- SHUR-GAIN BUILDING DAIRY FEED MILL IN STRYKERSVILLE: Shur-Gain plans to build a $2.7 million dairy feed mill in Strykersville.
The Wyoming County mill, which is expected to open by July, will employ 45 people.
Construction is scheduled to begin this month.
The computerized and automated mill will process many local ingredients with a capacity of more than 150,000 tons, the company said.
Shur-Gain is a division of Toronto-based Maple Leaf Foods.
