Gresham, Ore.-Based Merchants Bank Changes Name to MBank.

Jan. 10--GRESHAM, Ore.--Merchants Bank will change its name to MBank in July to coincide with the opening of its fourth location, in the Gateway district of Southeast Portland.
The Gresham-based bank, founded in 1995 by local business leaders and bank executives, just finished its most successful year ever, President Rex Brittle said. The new name will reflect its evolution to include consumer services such as residential mortgage lending, he said.
