Jan. 9--Whitworth College and Eastern Washington University both launched entrepreneur programs last year to boost the area's economy.
EWU recently announced the addition of seven new graduate-level courses focused on helping start and grow new companies.
Gonzaga University is in the third year of its Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, which focuses on helping undergraduates become strong business leaders.
There's so much activity buzzing around the e-word that more than 20 groups will meet later this month in an "entrepreneurship summit."
