Thailand Advertising Industry Growth of 15.38 Percent Tops Forecast.

Jan. 14--Thailand's advertising industry performed better than expected last year with billings rising by 15.38 percent to 61.21 billion baht, according to Nielsen Media Research Thailand.
Advertising executives had earlier projected that total industry spending for 2002 would grow by about 12 percent, to 60 billion baht.
The improved results stemmed from the economic recovery and an increasing number of new big spenders in sectors such as housing and energy drinks.
