Jan. 16--SEMINAR TO OFFER AID ON CHARITY FINANCES: The Dallas Foundation, the oldest community foundation in Texas, will hold its sixth annual charitable planning seminar Wednesday.

The session is designed for professional advisers in accounting, financial planning and law.

It's called Low Interest Rate Charitable Planning and Other Sophisticated Planned Giving Topics and will be held from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Westin Galleria Dallas. St. Louis attorney Lawrence P. Katzenstein will conduct the workshop.
