Jan. 22--Flying business class with Thai Airways International Plc (THAI) will never be the same again thanks to the national carrier's US$104-million onboard facility upgrade.
Within the next 20 months, business-class passengers on board THAI's 777-200s will be able to slumber on seats equipped with back-massage machine or pull down wool hoods to cover their heads for more privacy.
On display at the demonstration by seven leading aircraft seat manufacturers worldwide for THAI's eight 777-200s are a seat with attached adjustable reading lights and a trendy-designed leather seat with a higher degree of reclining.
