Sierra Autocars' Solar Power Panels Lets Sun Shine In.

Jan. 21--MONROVIA, Calif.--The solar power panels installed at Sierra Autocars may only provide 10 percent of the business' needed electricity, but they are the largest such project in Southern California.

The block-long auto group installed 7,200 square feet of Sharp solar panels on three service bays, according to Herb Mendelsohn, an account executive from 3 Phases Solar, the company that designed and contracted Sierra's system.
