Airport Delays Vote on Incorporation of Frederickson, Wash., with Lawsuit.

Jan. 22--A lawsuit filed by a private airport has postponed indefinitely an incorporation vote on the proposed City of Frederickson.
Shady Acres Airport Inc. has challenged a decision of the Boundary Review Board for Pierce County, which approved proposed city boundaries that would split the airport in half.
The lawsuit, filed in Pierce County Superior Court, asks a judge to reverse the Boundary Review Board's decision. Board members also recommended that voters approve the city as proposed.
An airport representative said the airport is not against cityhood.
