Nashua, N.H.-Based Software Firm Able to Keep Listing on Nasdaq.

Jan. 23--NASHUA, N.H.--SkillSoft PLC announced Wednesday that because it has filed its third quarter financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission, its stock will continue to be traded on the Nasdaq.

The company was notified last month by Nasdaq officials that its stock would be delisted because it hadn't filed its 10-Q, a quarterly report required by the SEC, by Dec. 16, the date it was due.

SkillSoft could not file its 10-Q on time because it found upon closing its merger with another company, SmartForce, that the SmartForce had accounting irregularities in its past financial statements. SkillSoft announced that it would be restating...
