Aerospace Stocks Drop in Wake of Columbia Space Shuttle Tragedy.

Feb. 4--Aerospace companies, including Chicago-based Boeing Co., took hits from Wall Street Monday in the wake of the Columbia space shuttle tragedy.
Boeing's stock dropped 48 cents, down 1.5 percent, to $31.11 in the first day of trading since the Columbia's explosion during re-entry from space Saturday. Lockheed Martin Corp. saw its share price drop $1.50, or nearly 3 percent, to $49.55.
Boeing and Lockheed Martin are partners in a joint venture, United Space Alliance, that manages shuttle operations for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
