Feb. 13--A condominium developer from Florida's Panhandle plans to build a four-tower development near Walt Disney World on the west shore of Lake Bryan.
Construction is scheduled to start on Blue Heron Beach Resort during the second quarter of the year, according to Butch Matthews of Premier Real Estate of Destin and Orlando, which is handling sales.
The $150 million project is on property off State Road 535 northeast of Marriott's Orlando World Center. The four 17-story towers, each with two floors of parking, would have a total of 560 one- and two-bedroom condominiums each selling for $245,000 or more.
