Feb. 20--Spanish media conglomerate Grupo Prisa is moving aggressively into the U.S. Hispanic entertainment market through locally based television production and film distribution deals.

It also plans to expand into Spanish-language radio.

Prisa's New York-based unit Plural Entertainment signed two deals this month, with Miami's Latin World Entertainment Agency and Estefan Enterprises of Miami Beach, to quickly enter the burgeoning Hispanic entertainment sector.
