National Wine & Spirits Inc. Signs Distribution Deal with Diageo.

Feb. 20--National Wine & Spirits Inc. of Indianapolis, which recently challenged the way liquor manufacturer Diageo PLC chooses state distributors, agreed on Wednesday to partner with Diageo in Indiana and Michigan.
In late March, National Wine & Spirits, the parent of Chicago-based Union Beverage Co., will become the only company supplying Smirnoff, Guinness, Baileys, Captain Morgan and other Diageo brands to restaurants, bars and retail stores in Indiana and Michigan.
It also will distribute Diageo's Schieffelin & Somerset brands, including Johnnie Walker, Hennessy and Tanqueray, in Michigan.
