Feb. 21--Judging by store shelves packed with everything from Tupperware to Glad disposables, the last thing the world needs is another storage container. Yet Fullerton-based Snapware Corp. has developed a profitable niche in keeping dry food fresh and is quickly building on that foundation with an array of storage products that are boosting sales 25 to 30 percent a year.
The newest sales booster just now showing up on retailers' shelves is its line of Snap 'N Serve clear containers that hold up from freezer to microwave and look decent enough to put on the dinner table. Snapware will sell 4 million containers from all its lines this year, capturing 8 percent...
