Feb. 23--BELIEVE LABEL, NOT BROCHURE, ON EQUIPMENT: QUESTION. I purchased a new 2002 Buick Rendezvous CXL because I thought it came with a tire-inflation monitor that warned when pressure was low. The sales brochure stated it was standard equipment. I had a heart attack and can't change a tire. I found out this vehicle doesn't have a monitor, wrote Buick and was told it was their prerogative to leave the monitor off the vehicle. I think a manufacturer has an obligation to let its customers know what is deleted from its specifications. The dealer said he didn't get a letter until this January that the monitor wouldn't be included in the CXL. -- R.H., Ottawa, Ill.
