Two Milwaukee-Area Men Arrested in Conjunction with $4.5 Million Coupon Fraud.

Feb. 27--Thousands of pennies-off coupons added up to more than $4.5 million in fraudulent income for an organization that sent some of the take to the West Bank and Jordan, officials announced in Milwaukee Wednesday.
Federal authorities, who believe at least 375 stores, or fronts posing as stores, in 15 states participated in the scheme, announced the arrests Wednesday of 16 people. Another man was still at large. All face a charge of conspiracy to commit financial frauds, which carries a potential penalty of 20 years in prison.
