Mar. 6--The Midwest drives what will be most popular in video games around the country -- or so says one metro Detroit native who became a brand manager for Infogrames Entertainment, one of the world's most respected gaming companies.

"Contrary to other fashion industries -- music, movies -- I think that trends that drive the video game business arise in the Midwest," said Matt Collins, 30, who tells his friends his job is playing video games all day long.
