Boston Restaurants Face New Safety Demands.

Mar. 8--The night was cold and snowy, but the bar at Teatro in the Theater District was packed. Over at Club Cafe in the South End, the usual Thursday night crowd filled the room. At Pho Republique, customers lined the bar three deep by 10:30.

But some in the group cast wary eyes around them as they drank their beers and cosmos. "I get naturally high from being in a crowd," said Brian Borquin, who lives in the South End. "But nowadays I check for the exit signs."
