Taiwanese Boy Band Scores on Multiple Fronts.

Mar. 10--The biggest selling boy band in Asia, F4, not only is making Mando-pop waves among adoring Thai fans, but boosting the entertainment business through thriving merchandise sales.
Driven by the F4 fever, sales of the Taiwanese boy band's VCDs, CDs and other merchandise in Thailand have reached nearly 100 million baht since TV Channel 3 began broadcasting the Taiwanese soap opera Meteor Garden I two months ago.
The soap, based on a Japanese comic, is a teenage love story starring the F4 members: Jerry (Yan Cheng Xu), Ken (Chu Hsiao Ten), Vic (Chou Yu Ming) and Vanness (Wu Jian Hao).
