Internet Makes Trading of Walt Disney Co. Memorabilia Easier, More Accessible.

Mar. 24--Disney memorabilia isn't what it used to be.
Time was when dealing in Walt Disney-related antiquities meant combing the stacks of rare-book stores or discovering a dusty lithograph at an estate sale.
"Nothing is rare anymore," said Paul Anderson, an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University in Utah who teaches a class called "Walt Disney and American Culture" to seniors. "The Internet has made everything easier to find, and it has brought down prices."
And while there are more Disney items available on the Web than ever, dealers say, a lot of what's out there is relatively mundane merchandise. Anderson alone has about 15,000 items,...
