Bellevue, Wash., Nursing Home to Close May 30.

Mar. 25--More than 100 elderly residents at a Bellevue nursing home owned by Group Health were told yesterday that the doors will shut permanently May 30.
Staffers at the Care Center at Kelsey Creek broke the news individually to the residents and their families throughout the day. Group Health Cooperative, which has run the facility for 12 years, promised to help find alternative accommodations for the residents.
Group Health announced last November that it planned to sell the home. At that time, the health-care provider said it would try to find another nursing-home operator to take over Kelsey Creek, but also warned that it could close. No viable offers came...
