Mobile Commerce Could Expand 40 Percent This Year in Thailand.

Apr. 23--Mobile Commerce (m-commerce) has the potential to expand by 40 percent this year to become a 1.8-billion-baht market if industry participants work together to build a solid market foundation, according to Dr Robert Davis, who recently led a survey on the development of m-commerce in Thailand.
M-commerce covers all non-voice services, such as SMS (short message service), MMS (multimedia messaging service), J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) and mobile video streaming, offered to mobile subscribers.
