Wireless Retail Selects Southaven, Miss., as Location for Distribution Center.

Apr. 24--Wireless Retail Inc., the nation's fifth-largest retailer of cell phones and service plans, is launching a 163,500cq-square-foot distribution center in Southaven, scrapping a similar plan for St. Louis.
Wireless intends to hire 100 people and open Sept. 1.
The facility, which Wireless will lease, is being built in Airways Distribution Center at Hamilton and Airport Industrial drives.
Atlanta-based Industrial Developments International is developing the project to Wireless's specifications, said Paul Elliott, Wireless vice president of operations and supply chain.
