Mesa, Ariz.-Assembled Attack Helicopter Will Appear at Paris Air Show.

Apr. 25--The Apache Longbow attack helicopter will make an appearance at this year's Paris Air Show, despite the weak aerospace economy and political tensions with France. The Pentagon issued guidelines this week cutting the number of military planes it will display at the show, which is one of the premier trade show events in the industry.

The Defense Department also is cutting back the number of personnel who will attend the June 15-22 gathering. Observers have surmised the reason is to show the department's pique at France's opposition to the American-led war in Iraq.
