Apr. 3--AMERICAN BIO MEDICA SETTLES SUIT OVER LICENSING AGREEMENT: American Bio Medica Corp. has settled the final piece of litigation related to a dispute over a 1992 technology licensing agreement with a Maryland man.
The Kinderhook, N.Y.-based manufacturer of drug-testing kits disclosed in its annual report this week that it paid $150,000 to settle a lawsuit filed more than three years ago by the broker of a deal in which the company exchanged shares of stock for access to drug-screening technology created by the late Robert Friedenberg. The settlement was reached in December 2002.
