Apr. 6--Delta Air Lines has been much in the news lately but for all the wrong reasons. Even Chairman Leo Mullin would not dispute that. Especially Mullin.

First, filings by the company disclosed that Mullin and his senior executive corps paid themselves handsomely even as their company lost $1.3 billion last year and dumped thousands of jobs. For his part in this, Mullin took in nearly $13 million in cash and other goodies. All told, according to the filings and company documents, $17.3 million flew out of the Delta treasury for executive bonuses. The company spent another $25.5 million creating special pension trusts to guarantee executives'...
