Bangkok, Thailand, Gift-Houseware Fair Expects Some 2,400 Foreign Traders.

Apr. 9--About 2,400 foreign traders have confirmed that they will attend the Bangkok International Gift & Houseware 2003 Fair (BIG), according to Banphot Hongthong, director-general of the Department of Export Promotion.
The signed-up visitors come from Asean member nations, Europe, North and South America, Australia and Japan.
Mr Banphot expected the fair would draw up to 95,000 visitors, up 20 percent from last year, with 750 exhibitors occupying 1,550 booths at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Bitec).
