Threat of Strike Increases at Fort Worth, Texas, Lockheed Martin Plant.

Apr. 9--The possibility of a walkout at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co.'s Fort Worth plant grew Tuesday as the gap widened between the defense company and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
The machinists' contract expires at midnight Sunday, and the union says a strike is possible if no agreement is reached.
"I've been involved in these negotiations since 1974, and we're further from having an offer than we ever have been," said Pat Lane, directing-business representative of IAM District Lodge 776.
