Seven-Eleven Japan Co. Sees Group Net Profit Rise 1.4 Percent.

Apr. 10--TOKYO--Seven-Eleven Japan Co. said Thursday its group net profit for the year ended in February rose 1.4 percent from the previous year to 82.83 billion yen due to steady growth in its mainline convenience store business.
Japan's largest convenience store chain operator also reported a 3.5 percent increase in group pretax profit to 153.77 billion yen on overall operating revenue of 424.09 billion yen, up 10.3 percent. Operating profit grew 3.9 percent to 155.87 billion yen on a group basis.
Seven-Eleven Japan will pay a full-year dividend of 35 yen as announced last month after the company revised its earlier plan to pay 33 yen, reflecting...
