Apr. 9--EAGLE POINT, Ore.--C&K Market Inc., the parent of Ray's Food Place supermarkets in Oregon and California, has agreed to purchase Rick's Thriftway at the Greatway Center from Rick and Tresa Nichols of Medford.
The new owners assume control June 4 and the store will be known as Ray's Thriftway for about three months before becoming Ray's Food Place. Terms were not disclosed.
"This market has the right combination for success: excellent employees, loyal customers and a clean, well-managed facility," says Doug Nidiffer, C&K Market's president and chief executive officer.
